@JohnRandom: I have uploaded the copy I have. Could you click on the "Download 32-bit" link in the entry and give it a shot?

All links are dead. Webarchive didn't grab the 150kb zip from http://www.lonewolf.gr/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/hdi.zip
Maybe somebody could share it?

No good in system tray to me.

Great diagnosis tool to find out if the hard drive is the bottleneck and my favorite indicator tool because of its simplicity. However its not very efficient. System memory is nicely low (7 megs) but during heavy hard drive activity, used %20 of system resources (!) on a 1.6 ghz system. Its just a hard drive light.

Fixed the problem.
I just created a file called 'hdi.txt' in the folder with 'hdi.exe', it doesn't have anything in the text file but it sorted out my problem.

I have used HDI for many years. It is a useful little utility that adds a feature that should have built in to the OS.
