Re: looking tool to change date of file according the folder
Swiss File Knife includes a touch command that should work in a script such as the batch script below. If the working directory is set to "%~dp0", the working directory is changed to wherever the batch file is placed. Note: Corrected error which caused script not to process folder names wi...

Re: Open with++
However, when you click "uninstall," it asks for a reboot. Been awhile since I looked at this, but you are correct. I became aware of that issue when I tried to copy the program and it's settings to another pc and none of the settings worked - I forgot about that. Rather than modifying th...

Re: Open with++

Open with++ is actually more flexible than Open++, and I use it daily. I couldn't find Open With++ in the ...

Re: youtube-dl - multi-site media/video downloader
I noticed the execution lag in yt-dlp and with youtube-dl too, but I wasn't aware of the temp file creation issue. I tried yt-dlp_min and it's much faster. Thanks for the tip.

Re: SigcheckGUI - file information and hashing
It may be easier to scan programs or folders in their installed location instead of copying them to a test folder. A batch file can be used to scan programs and folders with SigCheck where they are installed and drop the result to a specified location. The attached batch file can do that by dragging...

t Thoughts on fixing/avoiding this? Although the language setting is written to the registry and remains set, no other settings under options are saved to the registry or to a file. Although the user can change any option, other than the language setting, the others will reset to their original defa...

Extracted this app and created RocketCake.ini in the app's folder. Runs fine, but writes settings to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ambiera\RocketCake. Nothing saved to the RocketCake.ini file.
