8 years on PFWC
8 years on PFWC
I'm not one for anniversaries but as of today I've been on the site 8 years. Although I've given a lot of time to this place, the site has definitely given back: I love playing with new programs and solving problems, but there's been some solid professional benefits. The site both helped me get the job I've had for the last 3 years and helped me get promoted within the job twice. All the work with licenses, interfaces, usability, and work with developers turns out to translate pretty well into my line of work.
I'll also take this chance to say thanks to everyone that's given their time and energy to the site, either in development, maintenance, suggesting new programs, testing, analysis/reviews, bug reports, or contacting developers.

Congrats and thanks for your contributions! We're getting older, huh?

(Portable Freeware aWesome Collection?)
