Looking for portable MS Project alternative

#1 Post by NewKreation »

I have found a couple of alternatives for Microsoft Project. However, both Gantt and WorkBench require Java. I do not want to install Java for just one application.

Does anyone here know of other alternatives?

Thank you in advance.

This may do the trick, it requires install but copying the folder then uninstalling did not prevent it working. I don't think it writes anything to the registry.

it requires install
Hah! Not with my new friend, Universal Extractor.

Pretty good that Universal Extractor, I'm going to using that a fair bit from now on.

I've recently been informed of Universal Extractor too and it seems that it would be a really great way of avoiding having to install any apps that are otherwise portable. Perhaps the PF website FAQs could be updated to reflect this recent revelation! :)

Thanks! Posted Universal Extractor to database, and added an FAQ entry. Looks like I should start using this app more often too.
