PDFill PDF Tools

Short version: if you like having every possible PDF tool on hand, this could be worth the minor annoyances.

This got a good review here http://www.techsupportalert.com/content ... -PDF-Tools and it does indeed have some nifty extra tools so I checked it out.

Synopsis:

Clean and nice user interface, include most features such as merge, split, reorder, rotate, header and footer with page number, watermark, encrypt and decrypt, convert PDF to images or vice versa, convert PostScript to PDF.

Unfortunately the program is hosted on download.com but I was able to get around any crapware they may or may not have added. Tested v.11 on a Win7x64 machine.

Steps:

• 1. Download installer
  2. Run Universal Extractor on the install file
  3. Copy files from SystemFolder to the root directory
  4. Run PDFill PDF Tools.exe

I got an error message (below) but it still works.

SOFTWARE\PlotSoft\PDFill_PDF_Tools cannot be found!

Please install again using Run as Administrator (Right Click the EXE)
or turn off the Anti-Virus Software!

Status: not portable, but almost. It only has a few settings to save, but writes them to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PlotSoft
