stores emails and settings on same folder (ecxellent for pendrives).

Not 100% sure I would trust it and also why would you we want to when we have more modern portable email clients such as Thunderbird and Opera Mail?

- Because that's what I've always used, really -- and the oldest message in my 3GB email archive currently dates back from 2003...

Opera Mail I just don't know. And I have been a devoted Mozilla user like forever, but I wouldn't touch Thunderbird with a ten foot pole: email processing is a cumbersome task as it is, without me having to deal with lags and the intricacies of yet another mail client administration...
