A43 file manager (new website) / A56 file manager (new!)

#1 Post by walmor811 »

A43 is a file manager with integrated text editor, zip/unzip functions, file search, quick launch area and dual-pane view, already listed in TPFC.
The software author has moved to http://vault32.com

Bradley G. Miller offers now also the rather new A56 file manager, a "refurbished" A43. Please have a look on A56, it might perhaps supersede A43 in the future.

A43 has always been a pretty sound file manager,I think it was actually the first I ever tried outside of eXplorer.

Its still pretty sound, not too flashy or overburdened with so many functions you cant keep up with it.
I have always liked its quick launch panel. I never knew it could password protect zip files, thats pretty cool.

Other than 64bit support it doesnt seem like alot has changed since last I used it tho.

Its good to know Windows XP is still supported :)

I have gotten so fed up with Q-Dir lately,
I might just try this one out for awhile.

That's great news! I always liked A43 though never used as my main file manager. Just tried the successor and it is also pretty slick and powerful.
I also have a tiny feature request that I will post soon.
