Portable: Yes, if you create an empty file named GlobalOptions.config (or you can download the installer and install HeavyLoad as portable version by choosing a folder on your USB-Stick during the installation and activate "Install as portable version" in the following dialog).
Stealth: Yes (test file created in system's Temp folder does not count)

Interesting stuff. I can see this primarily useful for administrators and high-availability devices to test cooling and other fault-tolerance.
