Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

oStorybook - writing tool

#1 Post by webfork »

Mostly posting about it because I haven't seen anything in the forums quite like it, but this is a Java based, cross-platform, multi-language story writing program. There's some interesting looking features but I'm definitely feeling the absence of a video tutorial. There are a lot of windows and tabs that feel unconnected.
Software for writers, essayists, authors. Used from the draft to the final work, with oStorybook you can never lose the history of the field of view. oStorybook helps you to maintain control over the various developments of your story.
Steps: Download the portable version and use with JavaPortableLauncher. You can create a batch file with the following text and it will save settings to the JavaPortableLauncher folder.

Save the following to a launch.bat file (adjusting paths for where ever you store the programs):

"Z:\PortableApps\JavaPortableLauncher\JavaPortableLauncher.exe" "Z:\PortableApps\oStorybook\oStorybook.jar"

Status: Portable

 As it's also applicable here, see my post regarding the batch launcher at viewtopic.php?p=102648#p102648.
