Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.
Hi,
Thank you for considering my software for submission in this site!
I just want to let you know that a new version (1.5) of SpeedyPainter is available.
You can download it from the SpeedyPainter home page: http://speedypainter.altervista.org/
Sincerely,
Andrea
buzzelliart: thanks for posting, always great to hear from developers.
I had a crash at startup on WinXP SP3 and don't really want to post the crash log here on the site or have the rather large file fill up your feedback page. Do you have an email you could msg to me or post here with username [et] whatever dot com?
3.3.2 :
• Added autosave functionality to prevent losing data on application crashes.
• New set of brushes: "plants".
3.3.1 :
• Improved brush properties dialog.
3.3.0 :
• Better tablet support: added finger gestures for zoom and panning (demo here).
• More standard combo box behaviour (works better on tablet devices).
• Fixed textured brush cursor.
3.2.10 :
•Fixed some pixel glitches occurring with pasted selections.
3.2.9 :
•Solved application crash occasionally occurring when pasting a selection (CTRL+V).
3.2.8 :
•Added Cut and Paste actions, this finally solves a major limitation of previous versions of SpeedyPainter.
3.2.7 :
•New brush: brushed metal (usage example here).
•New brush: skin freckles (usage example here).
•Fixed some major bugs accidentally introduced in version 3.2.5.
3.2.4 :
•Improved drawing algorithm.
•Big improvement with anti-aliasing of lines, this solves a well known problem that occurred expecially when drawing thin lines.
•Overlay message "created with SpeedyPainter" removed from the exported .avi video.
•Some modifications in the gradient tool, now you can change the color at the two extremities of the gradient using the same color selector used to change the brush color, instead of additional sliders for hue, saturation and brightness.
•When applying a gradient inside a selection, the result has now smoother borders.
3.2.3 :
•Resize tool (added as a variant of the crop tool).
•Small improvements in the gradient tool.

Thanks for doublechecking. I'd love to develop an automated method for checking new program versions and run this through for all new additions to make sure stuff like this didn't come up.
I didn't run a thorough test but a quick search doesn't turn up that registry entry. I had some interface issues with the program on my Win7x86 machine but ]I love how the save icon looks like a 5.25 floppy from 1993.
License is a little unclear. I see somewhere it says open and it's definitely using open components. Softpedia is reporting it as Freeware.
