Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.
License: GPL v2 RAM: 31 megs Processor usage: never got above 3% on my dual-core 2ghz Intel Setup: I'm running Universal Extractor on this one and then moving files from ýŸ€ and $INSTDIR. over to one folder. Or is the installer just a glorified unzip?
Cross platform and very linux-driven. 14 different Linux builds and FreeBSD.

It's a Nullsoft Installer, use 7-Zip to extract the files.
The latest version of Qmmp is 0.8.3. Although not portable I like it very much- I am especially impressed by its huge formats support. In fact Qmmp cannot play just few formats- LA (Lossless Audio), OFR (OptimFROG) and TAK (Tom's lossless Audio Kompressor) files. For me it is of extreme importance that Qmmp can render CUE files- a player that cannot read Cue sheets, no matter how good it might be, is useless.
When I try to download the latest version of Qmmp (0.8.6) I got 'Error 403 Forbidden': http://qmmp.ylsoftware.com/files/window ... -win32.exe
Does anybody else has the same problem with this download? Any idea why I am denied access to this download?
@Midas
Thank you for testing the download link- yesterday I couldn't download the file but after I got your comment I tried and this time the download went fine, it seems the download problem was a temporary one.
Qmmp 0.8.8 has been released, changes:
- fixed crash when quitting while playlist is being populated;
- fixed some skins support;
- fixed documentation;
- fixed cmake support.
