Something like Sumatra PDF but for MS Office type files is what I'm after, does anything like this exists?
MS used to have Microsoft Excel Viewer & Word Viewer which are now discontinued but can still be found on places like FileHippo, they were never portable though so I'm not interested in them for my problem. I'm looking for something portable and lightweight, again something like Sumatra PDF would be perfect. Also would rather not have to reply on internet based services like Google Docs for this kind of thing.
Anything portable out there for viewing Doc / Docx / XLTM Files?

SoftMaker Office? Not fully portable iirc, overkill for just viewing files
Outside In Viewer? Not stealth, download require registration (but any temporary email is enough)
Don't know anything more

I've used LibreOffice for viewing and converting old Microsoft Office and Works documents to newer formats.

^^ Can't stand LibreOffice honestly, it always have issues with fonts and certain other things looking right, and it's really bloated for just what I want it to do.
Anyway I saw a few days back on MajorGeeks a program called DocX Viewer which is what kinda sparked this and reminded me that I need something that can do this, but be lightweight and portable, I have not tried this program yet so I don't know if it is portable or not (probably not since it's an installer) http://www.epingsoft.com/docx/docxv.asp
Also just doing a quick duckduckgo search for "docx viewer" nets me Docx Reader, File Viewer Lite & Free File Viewer as some of the top results, but those sites looks kinda shady and you never know they might be malware...

https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1079 http://uvviewsoft.com/uviewer/ (there is free and pro so ymmv)
Alternatively you could try https://www.ghisler.com/lister/ (32bit works just fine on 64bit) and have a look at various plugins that would allow word files to be viewed https://totalcmd.net/directory/lister.html (will be hit and miss)
Also Ulister https://totalcmd.net/plugring/oilister.html but it requires oracle libraries not sure how a that effects portability

Universal Viewer is perfect and exactly what I needed, I was beginning to lose hope.lintalist wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 10:17 am https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1079 http://uvviewsoft.com/uviewer/ (there is free and pro so ymmv)

Something you can achieve for free with Lister32 (standalone) and WLX plugins.
