I think the start button thing was symptomatic problem rather than a direct one. It represented a larger issue of Microsoft having a forward-thinking mobile device / phone strategy. The inability to reconcile the old with the new is telling. Macs used to run everything out of what was effectively a "start" button (in the top right corner) but nobody complained about the transition to OS X.Userfriendly wrote:Welp that's it guys, people will need to find something else to complain about.
