Same here. I have customized it to automatically install it according to os x32 or x64.

Good news: the link above seems to be working alright, as does awxRename homepage at http://www.arniworld.de/. 8)

Although awxRename x64 works a bit weird under Win 8.1 x64, it is still very useful and I use it on a daily basis like Midas. Thanks.

FYI, I managed to install awxRename x64 in Windows 7 without the double menu issue reported earlier -- dunno how I did it, but it is definitely possible... 8)

Well, it looks like the awxRename site is gone: www.arniworld.de now gives a 403 (forbidden) error.

The downloads page is still accessible at http://www.arniworld.de/downloads.htm. Sadly, the awxRename version linked from it (v0.54_Build58, dated 2006-11-20) is password protected.

Anyone kept older packages? Please share.

EDIT: I found the v0.54 packages on a backup drive and created these mirrors:

Quick post to note a possible (untested!) alternative to the deprecated utilities mentioned in the present topic: SmartRename was last released less than a year ago, supports regex and has 32 and 64-bit versions:

Very cool shell extension, Midas!

If I ever move from XYPlorer to regular Windows Explorer, this would be a great thing to add. XYPlorer has some built-in, renaming context menu options that I use quite regularly: https://www.xyplorer.com/highlights.php#rename
is it stealth? ;)

Yet another reason XYplorer is one of my favorite Explorer replacements. Thanks for the info. 8)
