... this update doesn't have any release notes but the program claims to save to .doc format, something that at least one user complained about in the comments.

Sorry, there was a readme file attached:

"Fixed bug in print preview"

... so ... not a major update.

Can Q-jot be made to run the portable installation of Wordweb?

I will attempt to contact the author but would appreciate any help.
