SyncExp

#1 Post by dasfx »

I haven't seen this mentioned here, but it's a great little program. I asked the developer (and double checked) and it looks like it just writes settings to the application folder (no registry).
Website: http://syncexp.com/

Category: Folders/Files / Backup and Restore

Synopsis: (from site) A small and powerfull piece of Windows application that can synchronize files and folders within a LAN or a single PC in a bliss. It works much faster and more versatile than the file transfer function of pcAnywhere and as such. Check existence/time/date/size of items. Optimized file comparion algorithm. Automatic activity log. Progress report window. Preview of action.

How to extract: Download the zip file, unzip, run SyncExp.exe

Unicode support: Yes

License: Freeware

System Requirements: Win95 / Win98 / WinME / WinNT / Win2K / WinXP

Great little app!

I certainly agree with Dave's comments above - Sync Expert seems to have been overlooked by many people. A nice and neat little utility. I would just add that the readme.txt file provides some help information.

Thanks! Added SyncExp to the database, but it does not support Unicode.
