No, Crimson Editor is not my project, it is a freeware that I used everyday.
I like this software more than the others, so i decided to make a portable launcher to it.

I keep getting "Crimson Editor configuration file has been corrupted" no matter how many times I run it.

I see both the installdir and profile corrupt error. The profile error I see every time I start Crimson editor. I also see a box that says "Wrong project file" after the corrup profile error.

You may not have admin rights on your computer (installdir info is stored in HKLM).

it is because I don't have admin rights that I am looking for a portable version. your thing is useless if it can't be use by a non-admin user.
