CrossLine is an outliner (Windows, Mac, Linux)
This caught my eye as it looks a bit different - only briefly played around with it, portable (just a single executable) - does leave a zero-byte QT file in the temp folder. CrossLine is an outliner with sophisticated cross-link capabilities in the tradition of the well-respected Ecco Pro. It is als...

Re: is there a portable batch text editor ?
The novel idea (at the time at least) was that BK ReplacEm was capable of multiple find/replace actions in one session (see the screenshots). Nearly, if not all, other programs could only perform *one* action at a time which made it very cumbersome. I recall when looking for something like this ther...

Re: Is there really no way to mute/cut audio by pattern?
Is the segment the same length? If so you would "only" have to identify the starting timestamps e. 6.58 13.23 etc and then use a (cli) tool to split the file in to sections, say the fragment is 10 seconds: 0-6.58; 7.08-13.23; 13.33-... and join them back still requires manual processing of...

Re: DropIt
Check if the download isn't actually blocked by the browser, when it thinks the source is suspicious it starts but won't finish/release the download until you've actually "approved it manually". I don't know dropit but you may need to adjust your filter so it ENDS with .PDF not just any na...
