Finally got a chance to test it ...

The interesting part is where it can gather words from: your local hard drive, a website, even the phone numbers of cities. Crazy. Then it will do analysis of those words. What kind of analysis?
when L517 'analyzes' a pre-loaded list, it goes through both prefixes and post-fixes, looking for patterns.

many common passwords begin and end with the same characters (some start with colors 'blue' or 'red', end with '123' or 'abc').

the analyzer will filter out patterns found at the beginning and end of list items and separate them into lists (_prefix.txt and _postfix.txt), and will save them to the L517's current directory.

this option is ONLY useful if you have a list of passwords (preferably phished).
(Emphasis added.) Oh good.

Think I put it together last night: by drawing probable password selections based on user-frequented websites, hard disk, and other areas, L517 creates a list of likely password usage. The only use I can think of here is for password cracking.
