Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Flagsync 2.2.1

#1 Post by webfork »

Someone may find a use for this. Reminds me of Toucan with FTP and fewer options.

Good:
* Simple, clean interface
* Open Source (not clear what license, although Softpedia is listing GPL)
* Portable, not stealth: Creates empty folder in AppData and when you go to save something, it'll default to this folder.

Bad:
* May require dotNET
* FTP backup doesn't include an option for any secure FTP protocol
* Two options: backup and sync. No explanation of the differences between them or any controls over the different options.
* Includes some kind of iTunes sync/backup capability, which I was unable to test.

Yes, it does require .net framework (the latest I believe) to run.

Flagbug has some projects and games on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/users/flagbug) that sound, despite the sparse descriptions, quite interesting. I posted Flagload some time ago (http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... t=flagload), which also requires the .NET framework. However, it always crashed on my machine (Win7x64) when I tried to execute a search.
