Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

qbrew

#1 Post by newsomer »

So many applications, so little time to play.

I have used qbrew to do some basic homebrewing calculations for some time now and just got around to trying it out as a portable application. I copied the files installed by the program installer to my external drive and used regshot to look for any registry activity and found none.

Being a recent advocate of the great port-app trend I am not sure what else must be done to verify it is a portable app and I don't know if something like universal installer can be used to unpack the files from the installer either. I am hoping that someone with some experience will check it out.

The application can be located here: http://www.usermode.org/code.html
