ExifTool GUI - metadata editor
ExifTool GUI - metadata editor

ExifTool GUI is -surprisingly- a GUI for Exif Tool.
ExifTools can be very useful for the ones who deal with pictures: it shows more metadata tags than any other tool, allows to edit almost any metadata tag, and it is regulary updated.
Both GUI and console applications don´t need installation and don´t use the register. The GUI stores settings locally.
The original page of the ExifTool is:
http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/
As always in the last times, I would ask an opinion about portability to the other TPFC users!
Thanks in advance!

I will say right now that I haven't tested out this app, nor am I going to. What I will say, however, is that I do not endorse its usage and/or distribution in any way, shape or form. Why? Because I can. I could go ahead and lie, claiming that it connects to malware servers and downloads a bunch of crap onto your computer including one annoying bastard that pops up every 5 minutes to advertise dick pills with large, graphic pictures of engorged sections of the male anatomy, but I won't. That wouldn't be professional at all, and it would be a damn lie. I hate liars.
And I love AlephX. He's like an e-brother to me. I consider him my protoge in my more narcissistic moments, though that certainly has no bearing on any aspect of reality since he is in no way my protoge.
If you folks haven't already realized it, this is my expertly subtle method of covering up the fact that I have no friggin' clue what the hell this thing is for. All EXIF means to me is "Korean Exit Sign."

ExifTool GUI - image metadata editor
Hi, I propose this application again...
ExiftoolGUI
See also the post: viewtopic.php?t=2637
What's that?
It is an EXIF editor. It is a very useful tool if you are a photographer. The EXIF metadata report many information about a picture like size, camera model, exposure, lens used, GPS data, used software, owner, etc.
This tool can view/edit all the Exif, IPTC and XMP metadata tags, and has batch capability. It can also export and import all these tags.
How to:
just unzip the content of both zip files (exiftool + GUI) both into any folderp. After unzipping ExifTool, you must rename "exiftool(-k).exe" to "exiftool.exe".
Run by doubleclicking on ExifToolGUI.exe
Write settings: to its folder.

Tried and tested.
It is a nice and simple gui for what appears to be a great program.
(Within minutes I discovered that all my pictures are being credited to my cameras original owner, grrr)
I've only run it through sandboxie so far and it looks like everything is stored in the temp folder, including exiftool.exe.
I dunno why, portable enough though, that's what ccleaner's for.
Congratulation on your return AlephX.
One day and two good and informative submissions.

In my previous post I havde missing an detail: these builds (32 and 64 bit) may have some bugs.
for this reason gthe programmer has added to download links two program for monitoring these (eventual) bugs:

The PA.c Package is 32-bit only as the bit doing the heavy lifting, exiftool.exe, is only 32-bit.
