I just found this site and Serva while looking for a portable DHCP server when trying to implement a PXE server.
With Serva I found "everything" working in a single well documented app, for free. Bingo! :D

Then sure you guys understand I really do not care much about this forum rules related to nagware, advertizing, and the like. What I really cannot understand is Midas' attitude; Did that guy really "downvoted" Serva just because it includes a nagscreen?? and now he's a "naysayers" with an "angry" :x emoticon?? What's wrong with this guy??
I have upvoted Serva because it is a very good free application even having a nagscreen.
Despite what you guys decide to do about Serva's version I hope Serva's author never decides to cancel its free version because of people like you "Midas".

Let it be noted that I only downvoted Servea after having previously upvoted it -- something that might not be immediately evident to the casual passer by...

As for the rest, suit yourself, dear b1001. I stand by my choices. 8)

What's really evident even to the casual passer it's that you do not know "why" upvoted and then downvoted this application :?
You are just a complainer looking for a stage; that's it.

Serva32/64's Maximum File Transfer Size?

Hi, does anyone know what the maximum file size is that this program can handle?

Thanks

Unknown. You'll want to bring that up with the developer:

http://www.vercot.com/~serva/contact.html

In my tests with this, it could handle around 300 megs but I didn't test beyond that. I would be surprised if it couldn't handle multiple gigabyte files.

Came back to this a while back for a weird router issue and it blew away our other program tests. Since the nagscreen has been taken down, I'm listing the latest version but since I can't find the source code anywhere, license is set to freeware.

Last time I checked a few weeks ago, the nag screen was still there.

That's strange. I just tested it on Win7 x32 and x64 machines. Seemed ok.

Edit: Maybe I've got to run it for a few more days before it starts nagging?
