I found the Click-N-Type virtual keyboard version 3.02 but it writes a lot of settings in the registry...
site:
http://www.lakefolks.org/cnt/
It´a a quite well done program (freeware, but home calling, with more than 30 languages supported, many many options!
Can anyone help to find a registry-free virtual keyboard?
Thanks

Right! ...but I liked something more user-friendly and intuitive (I don´t mean that this is a difficult program...)
The one I found is registry-addicted!!! ...

try Rapidkeys:
http://rapidkeys.netfirms.com/en/index.htm
pointing to simtel downloader
execute the downloaded file and a web-installer will install the app
once installed go to install directory and copy what you need to usb
this app creates an .ini file so might be portable
please check for portability

Run "osk" in Windows for the built-in On-Screen Keyboard.

Hey! it works as portable: it´s only 40 Kb and it´s downloaded as standalone exe.
I would propose to
put it in the Database as
Harmonic´s suggestion

RapidKeys is not portable. It writes a whole bunch to stuff to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32.

vkt writes settings to the registry eg. username/password, always-on-top etc.

Alas, Virtual Keyboard also writes settings to the registry.
