  I have used all of them in the past -- but to tell you the truth, I never really noticed RMPrepUSB size checking option.

Just looked through a box of old SD cards to find the fastest for a job where speed mattered

H2testW worked fine

and I found that
it Write-Tests to Free space only
so no file data will be lost or overwritten
