Coffee_FF - keep computers awake

#1 Post by I am Baas »

Coffee will keep your computer wide awake while your network is active or a program. Coffee prevents standby when your traffic speed on a selected network adapter is above the user configurable threshold or specific software selected. It will keep computer awake without disturbing monitor sleep mode. Have option to delay xx minutes after software does not meet sleep block settings. Have option to send up key press.

Looks excellent, shame it's not portable. Thanks for testing.

I'm guessing you're the dev and that's in reference to the "Released /Coffee_FF-Bad Portable.rar" in the Project Activity bit?

Latest version does not write to AppData, settings saved to Coffee_FF.exe.config file in the application folder.

@Mod
Please move to the submission thread.

Yes. I added new code to portable so it update config.
In future might add option to exe file where you can select where to save config file. (To computer or config file.) I update/rewrite some code for personal use and end-up adding little things. I am not expert on C# nor do programming but as hobby, to poke here and there. I am thinking to add ini file or something like that so you can change language of the GUI. If I get spare time.

This has been on my todolist for quite some time and I finally got around to it...

Coffee_FF has been added to the database:

Thanks for submitting Coffee_FF to the database. I have already voted.
In fact the latest version of Coffee_FF is not 2.0.2 but 2.0.3 (2.0.3.2)- just download Coffee_FF.rar from Coffee_FF download page. Compared to the similar Don't Sleep program Coffee_FF uses much more resources (Don't Sleep- about 1.140 K, Coffee_FF- about 33.000 K).

Sure thing. I wish I could get like a week off from everything to catch up on a lot more on the site (including other submissions).
