FolderCache/ReOpen.

#1 Post by guinness »

FolderCache: A MRU (Most Recently Used) Cache of Explorer Folders. Leave running in Tray. Press Shift-NumPadAdd to open the Folder Cache Window.

ReOpen: ReOpen is an enhanced version of FolderCache that has an additional list for programs. Usage is exactly the same. The default hotkey for ReOpen is Shift-Pause. Both programs have a Set Hotkey command in the Tray Menu to change the hotkey.

Ideal for seeing your top 10 most used applications, which makes it easier for answering your Top 10 Fav App questions in the forum.

FolderCache Version: V3.9.0.2
ReOpen Version: V3.5.0.4
Stealth: Yes

I personally tested CreateDir and it's portable.

OK, so I managed to get it work, seems it's Portable. I tested it before but could never get the Folders or Files to add/show in the GUI's, hence why I didn't add it, but I read the ReadMe this time!
For the automatic monitor to work, Explorer Folder Options View Settings should have "Display the full path in the Title Bar" and, if available, "Display the full path in the Address Bar" checked. Also in XP make sure under View Toolbars that Address Bar is enabled. After setting these options, remember to push the "Apply To All Folders" button.
And I disabled Coffee/CAFEMod/CAFE, because this intercepts the ShellExecute messages.

So with this in mind of editing the users Explorer Settings, should this be considered Portable? It's not changed by the application, but it required by the user to work. Should I add? Let me know.

But I am wondering for those who haven't, since I normally don't have the full path showing in the title bar. Maybe I could add!
