I just came across this app at AskVG.com.

Synopsis: "DNS Jumper" is a small and portable utility which helps you in easily switch to Google Public DNS, Open DNS or other similar DNS services.

I haven't tested fully but from briefly using, it does change the default DNS Settings.

Note: I read about ClearCloud on DownloadSquad, which...
ClearCloud is part of the DNS network, and has access to every URL in the world. When you type in the URL in your browser and click "Go" or "Enter," your browser sends the URL to ClearCloud. ClearCloud looks it up in a table, checks it against the list of bad websites, and if it passes, sends back the numeric IP address so your browser knows where to go to get the web page. All in milliseconds.

If ClearCloud discovers that it's a bad URL, it sends back the IP address of our webpage that informs you about the malicious site.

It's that simple.
The DNS addresses are 74.118.212.1 and 74.118.212.2 or open DnsJumper.ini and add 33. ClearCloud=74.118.212.1,74.118.212.2

Voted.

I read about Dns Jumper a few days ago on Addictivetips. Did not have time to test though. Thanks for adding to TPFC, guinness. Also thanks for the ClearCloud tip.

No problem. All applications I add are Portable (Stealth) unless stated and I never add .NET or Java, except for Transmute which was added by Lupo73. Forum post.

Thanks wolfghost for the information. I have updated the DB entry. I was using a 3rd party site because this was easier for using with WebVersions.

It should probably be noted in the program description that if the "dns backup" function is used, the backup data are stored in the registry. On my xp sp3 system, the value "DnsJumper" is added. If the backup function is not used, no registry entries are made.

Thanks. I added a note to the "Stealth" field.
