JDRemoteDesktop

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

When I was doing sysadmin work a few years ago, this would have saved me an enormous amount of time. Great program.

Its one of those "I wish I had that back then!" type of programs. Shame it still has only 5 points!! :(

Well, its hard to vote for something that I can't really test anymore. I'd need my old setup (multiple computers on the same network) to really give it a try.

I favour the VNC protocol over the RDP, I don't know of anyway to encrypt the RDP connection.

Maybe not natively, but I run it fine using SSH, specifically MobaSSH (server) and TunnelierPortable (client).
