MPlayer WW

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Hi

about the new version of mplayer did you notice it installs a service MPlayerWW?

i don't know if it remove but i found on the registry the service

can you check it?

they are located in the folder tools
MPlayerWWService.exe
MPlayerWWServiceStarter.exe

Lots of programs here on the site are frontends for Mplayer. What are you using?

Just delete the 2 files from the tools subfolder:
  • MPlayerWWService.exe
    MPlayerWWServiceStarter.exe
I have a few question marks about them, too.

I have no idea what those 2 files represent, but my MPlayerWW works fine without them (the service definitely collects some user data).

XiX Player is multi-platform (MacOS, Linux, and Windows) BASS based but mplayer aware music player than can handle libraries of more than 40,000 files and apparently is compatible with Windows 10 (untested!).
