Undelete 360

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

I haven't tested usability but it stores language setting in the registry (version 2.1 build 5, on XP SP2):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\undelete360\gui

Edit:
+ also stores other settings there (recovered files path, etc.)

I really can't confirm this!
Are you sure you used the portable version?

Edit: I was testing build 1, from Softpedia (they still have it)!!!
You are right about build 5!

I'll mail them (together with my translation, to sweet things up a bit :) )!

The following install file is a simple exe file. There is no installer or uninstaller, no desktop or start menu icons are created, and no registry or other system changes are made. The portable install is suitable for users who want to perform a manual install or for users who want to install undelete 360 as a portable app on a USB flash drive. To run Undelete 360 Portable from your Flash drive, download it to your USB memory drive and run undelete-360.exe.
Edit 2: translated and mailed them...now the wait begins... let's see how operative they are :)

I'm afraid there is no Unicode support:

I've also created a text file with Romanian characters in name and in content, deleted it and undelete360 didn't even see it.

Edit: Recuva did restore that file!

P.S. has anyone noticed the similarities of Undelete360 with UndeletePlus (later becamed the payware FileRestorePlus)?

Good news, guys!
They are going to change the way portable version stores the settings (for the next version, that will also include the Romanian translation. :) )

Like smaragdus noted regarding another function, the current release of Undelete-360 (v2.1.6.26) is crippleware -- please upload last full version, if you still have it...
