Extreme Editor is a not so simple ASCII editor for Windows with the following features:

- multi-tabbed and multi-document support
- encryption of edited text and clipboard (with Twofish)
- syntax highlighting for several programming languages, scripts, etc
- smart indentation for programmers (Windows version only)
- hex view
- base conversion
- color picker, show color in hex for web programming
- supports bookmarks on the edited text
- several more text tools for programmers and users such as line numbers, etc.
