GoldenDict perhaps... you may want to enable "scan popup".

tpfc's WordWeb also excels at providing apt words definitions
(and offers much more besides: synonyms, antonyms, near alphabetic words, similar words, types of, UK|US audio pronunciation...),
provided the word of interest is first. (merely clicking a word won't do).

You can setup a hotkey for a dictionary lookup in QTranslate as well, select word, press hotkey. That way you have both a translation and a dictionary tool at hand.

I like it: CNTRL+rightClick on any word anywhere.
