A great Video Cataloguer, let down only for the lack of documentation and online support. Have more than 400 DVDs and tried both the apps in this category, stayed with PVD. Nimble and quick, doesn´t have all the importers that AMC has, but makes finding blanks and editing a breeze. Recomended.

Una base de datos para películas muy buena, sobre todo, la posibilidad de importar los datos y carátulas de páginas web. |
Raindrop produces natural ambient sounds along with some special stimulating sounds for deep relaxation, sleep induction and perceived noise suppression. It is bundled with a series of highly realistic sound sets (tropical rain, birds etc.), meditation loops (mantra chants, instrumental vibrations etc.) and a binaural beats generator.
Binaural beats are perceptive illusions that happen when your ears receive two slightly different sine waves and your brain erroneously "reconstructs" the signal as a "beat" (hence the name). Depending on its frequency (which is given by the difference of the two sine waves) the binaural beat can effectively change the alertness state of your brain, thus inducing fast reactions (high frequencies), mild relaxation (medium frequencies) or deep sleep (low frequencies).

VirtualDub is a video capture/processing utility. It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor such as Adobe Premiere, but is great for video capture and transcoding via third-party video codecs. It can also read MPEG-1 video files by default but requires Plugins Pack to open more types of video (adds FLIC, FLV, Matroska, MPEG-2, AC-3 and WMV).
VirtualDub Portable is a PortableApps.com format wrapper for VirtualDub. Alternatively, X-VirtualDub is also available.

@Joe: Try to edit the "VirtualDubPortable.ini" file from the "VirtualDubPortable\App\AppInfo\Launcher" folder by commenting/removing the following line: "ProgramExecutable64=VirtualDub64\VeeDub64.exe".

TreeCopy is a unique directory copier taking the various folders the source folder to a set of empty target folders. Its unique from similar tools as it copies only the directory structure and not the files. This is useful for developers and in testing.
This functionality is similar to the windows command line "xcopy" i.e. XCOPY source [destination] /T /E, but this tool allows this action without needing to remember command line switches.

According to the website, it also works on Win 7 and 8. I'm hesitant to use it on Win 10 since it says "TreeCopy will only work successfully on these specific Windows operating systems:", and then doesn't list Win 10.

To Gawran: those non-techs such as myself would rather use a larger, "clumsy" program with a GUI than fiddle with commands. |
GnuPT Portable is a flexible file and text encryption system using the GPG encryption standard. This uses a "public key" system that allows individuals to exchange information securely with someone they've never met. Clipboard contents, current window, and files can all be secured quickly and easily. Standard encryption using a shared password ("symmetric") is also available.
Based on WinPT (Windows Privacy Tray).
Note: The program has issues with path portability (moving from folder to folder).

@PAFuser: it's unfortunate what some people think is obsolete. There are a whole lot of very old programs on my machine that still do a way better job than available alternatives.

I do not disagree, I still use Excel 2003, and it took some work to get it to work correctly on Windows 10 - 64 bit. If program is all you need and works, great. SE-Explorer zip contains SE-MediaPlayer, does not work. Context menu limited to SE-Explorer list, unlike FreeCommanderXE, etc. which include context items added to Windows menu. Future development might have changed this. |
BinText is a file text scanner / extractor that helps find character strings buried in binary files. The program can extract text from any kind of file and display plain ASCII text, Unicode (double byte ANSI) text, as well as Resource strings. Additional useful information for each item is included in the "Advanced" mode. Uniquely, the program will show both the file offset and the memory offset of each string found.
Although primarily targeted for programmers, it can be used by anyone interested in ferreting out character strings buried within binary files.
Note: Although updated versions of the program exist, the 3.00 version is listed for reasons described in forums.

I confirm that *fang-face* is right- the extraction of the latest version of ImgBurn (2.5.8.0) with Universal Extractor version 1.6.1 or with 7-Zip version 9.20 doesn't create any '$INSTDIR' directory.
