a little RANT

#1 Post by krho2 »

Ok, guys, could you please write somewere that you are not accepting subscriptions with @yahoo.com adresses...

2nd could anybody delete my account krho, which I tried to register with yahoo mail address.

3rd. Please create an open forum where guest can post messages and configure auto pruning for that forum. So you don't need to clean it up.
So anybodywith such problems could ask admins for help, without registering twice.

4th. Thanks for listening me

Regards,
Miha

I am not aware that yahoo.com email addresses are not accepted. What error message did you receive?

An open forum will be a magnet for spam, which makes it unlikely that anyone would bother to wade through the spam to answer the few genuine questions. There are spambots that trolls the forums and hit any open ones that they can find.

This happens all the time. Email is rather brittle these days due to spam filters and stuff.

Next time anyone does not receive his or her confirmation email, just drop me a mail and I will enable the account manually.
