On cue from an earlier post (http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... 721#p82721), I did a quick check for the nth time and here are those from among my results that lie closer to portability...
- OWL Editor (http://www.modelfutures.com/OwlEditor.html)
- OWL is the W3C's Web Ontology Language. Model Futures have developed a simple OWL editing tool, and are looking for willing Beta testers. This software is pretty new and untested, so you'll be helping us to find the bugs.
- OWLGrEd (http://owlgred.lumii.lv/)
- No more scrolling through long and cryptic text files or seeing only one item at a time. With OWLGrEd you can see your whole ontology at a glance. OWLGrEd is easy to understand and use even for "non-ontologists".
- KMgen is an ontology editor. An ontology describes the concepts and relationships of a particular knowledge domain, while specifying vocabulary and semantics for that domain.
