HoverIP contains an integrated set of network tools, including nslookup, ping, traceroute, easy routing table management, and a port scanner.

How to extract:
  1. Download and install to the default folder (C:\Program Files\HoverIP)

  2. Copy all files (except unins000.exe and unins000.dat) into a folder of your choice

  3. Uninstall the program
  4. Launch HoverIP.exe

Hm, the domain name runs out april 1 2010 - doesn't look as if the site has been updated in 7 years - wonder if this is the end of HoverIP

While it works on my Xp machine,it doesn't start up on my 98SE machine. No error, nothing running in background, just as though I'd never tried to start it.

... also, you can run multiple instances of the program, allowing for it to do several network diagnostics simultaneously.

Wide selection of network tools usually only available for UNIX systems, but with a smooth interface. This tool can help diagnose network problems, extremly useful for any windows sysadmin.
