MPUI is a graphical frontend for MPlayer, a cross-platform media decoder that plays hundreds of different video and audio formats, including DVD and DivX, without additional codecs. It includes support for multiple audio/subtitle tracks, keyboard navigation and OSD. Important settings such as aspect ratio, deinterlacing and postprocessing can be configured via the GUI interface.
Note: The version of MPlayer packaged with MPUI may not be the latest and does not contain the complete list of codecs. You may want to head to the MPlayer website and download the most recent MPlayer EXE and codecs, then unzip them to the MPUI folder.

I recommend updating to the 2.0.0.0 Beta and hosting it instead, specifically If I am not misinformed this just edits a single registry key (different Reg key for each new Windows OS) and thus is just a simple 1 key Reg editor. |
fungusAltTab is an Alt+Tab replacement. It sports a small memory footprint, mouse support, arrow keys support and more. A must for any user that uses the Alt+Tab shortcut.
Note: Since the application website is no longer available, I have added direct download for those of you who wants to check it out. Thanks to thibeaz for sharing his copy.

Wonderfully simple and clean, but VERY alpha-stage and buggy. Do NOT recommend. |
ABK SecureSys allows you to tweak various system-related settings, including those related to IE or security.
Note that the user interface is the cheesiest we have ever seen. In the contributor's own words: "the interface is not very nice". However, it gets the job done and sometimes that's all that is needed.

Atomic Butcher is a side-scrolling action game in the spirit of Abuse, but much more violent and graphic. Battle across the radiation-warped wasteland of Earth in search for meat to feed your shelter, using the mouse to aim and the keyboard to move.
Warning: NOT for the easily offended, as it contains plenty of blood, gore and urine. There is also a package offered that does not contain the music files, which cuts the size in half (roughly 30 megabytes).

WebArchive.org last site snapshot is from 2018-11-07: see http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.codershole.com/. Unfortunately Pix's last release download (v1.3.13, 89kb, released 2005-09-10) was hidden behind a PHP script so it's not part of it. I also tried Baas direct link below with no success.

MyLib is a cataloging program that uses its own custom database design to store a variety of different catalogs. The program allows a search for file types (e.g. audio, media, text, etc.), sizes, and string/keyword search. This should be removed from the database. Neither the website, nor the link via archive.org do work, so there's no way to download. I guess the project is plain dead.
