uStart is a lightweight, minimalistic program launcher with a small program size and limited features (no drag and drop) but a very small program size.
Note: Although the homepage is in German, the program GUI is in English.

Lean and mean x32 tray menu launcher, let down only by the lack of further development (seemingly ended in 2010) and drag'n'drop support -- uStart is a single 78 KB executable, and IMHO it's on par with PStart. Recommended.

I've tried this program for some weeks now and i have to say i like it.
It's easy to set up and to use.
I've found it most useful with my pendrive where it makes things easy for me to find 'my' stuff.
I'd recommend it.

Great little program. I had a problem with an application not running, but it was my fault, i didn't set the working directory.

Small and easy to use, I agree. But it does seem to have a problem with PortableApps.com packages. It displays the splash-screen of the launcher, but then... nothing. ProcesExplorer shows that PortableFilezilla (example) is running but there's no window associated with it, and therefore can't bring it to the foreground. Other apps start without problems...
Kinda annoying but oh well, for all the others it does launch I'm keeping it.

Program on the USB is only 74 kb + 5 kb .prefs file. After unpacking remove 'sources' folder.
Very easy to use on any PC - Just goto 'Start > Run > Browse to Removable Disk > Click on uStart > Open > OK'
An icon appears in the taskbar, left click to open, right click to configure.

since this is primarly english targeted maybe with sites that are in different language you could link them from google translate.. (just a suggestion)
