Poweroff enables you to schedule any of the following actions: shutdown, reboot, logoff, poweroff, standby, hibernate, lock, wake-on-LAN at a certain time. It contains a built-in scheduler and allows you to run another program before doing the action, issue a warning message, or wait for a process to finish before performing the action. Command-line options are also supported.

Save electricity when you know how long a download or maintinence program is going to run. You can even set the computer to shut down / standby when a given program stops running.
Only if you choose Service, Create Service, I think. Some programs contains functions that are not portable eg. create file association, add shell context menu, add system service etc. It is at your discretion not to activate them if portability is important to you!

I use this at work to schedule MyDefrag to run at a specific time and when it's done, the computer reboots. No waiting for the defrag to finish! I love this program.
