Foxit Reader is a fast PDF viewer that includes annotation capabilities, Javascript support, interactive form filler and built-in text converter. jPortable (formerly Java Portable) allows you to easily add a Java runtime environment to your portable device. It can be used in combination with jPortable Launcher to open Java JAR programs (many with their settings made portable) or used automatically with Java-enabled apps like PortableApps.com versions of LibreOffice and OpenOffice as well as web browsers like Chrome/Chromium, Opera, SeaMonkey and Firefox.

BulkFileChanger allows you to gather a list of files via drag-and-drop, explorer, or wild card searches. Users can then execute a command, change properties (time/date/hidden/read-only etc.), export file list, or copy/move files to another location.

FenrirFS is an application that helps you manage your files with labels. It lets you organize your files by classifying them with colors and stars, and by adding them to your favorites. You can organize multiple files by just dragging them to the labels, or by just typing the label's name. It also lets you preview audio, text and pdf files, check images, and play videos.

FirePasswordViewer recovers login passwords stored by Firefox such as username and password for every website visited by the user. If the user chooses to save their password, FirePasswordViewer can recover these secrets and export them to HTML. If the master password is enabled, the program will require this to open the encrypted information.

Pegasus Mail is an email client that supports multiple POP3/IMAP4 accounts, HTML email, rule-based and Bayesian spam filtering, multiple identities etc. It also includes special support for Novell NetWare.

IsMyHdOK is a small program to easily check the performance of a Windows Volume (e.g. Partition). It is suitable for SSD, HDD and other drives.

InstalledPackagesView displays the list of all software packages installed on your system (or from another system on external hard-drive) with Windows Installer (MSI). The program lists the files, Registry keys and associated .NET Assemblies. For every installed program, you can view name, version, install date, registry time, estimated size, install location, install source, MSI filename (in C:\Windows\Installer) and more.

NOTE: Recent press about CCleaner indicates it may represent a privacy concern.

CCleaner is a feature-rich system optimization and privacy tool. The program cleans unused, temporary and log files from your system, as well as traces of online activities such as Internet history and flash cookies. The program contains startup controls for Windows, major internet browsers and context menu entries. Includes a separate registry cleaner, duplicate search, system restore tool and can wipe both deleted files and drive free space for security.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder). Monitoring functions are only available in the pro version.

Additional cleaner rules can be using an unofficial set of community-developed set. It should be noted that many of these rules are alpha and the developers will not provide support for these rules, a thread in the users forum is dedicated to supporting the add-on rules.

SyMenu is a customizeable menu launcher that allows to organize and find your portable applications in a quick and easy way. Moreover, it can automatically link any application residing on host PC. Any linked item (SyItem) can be organized in a hierarchical structure with colorful folders and found with the internal search tool. The Standard for Portable Software (SPS) allows to install, update and remove the programs available in the SyMenu suites automatically, see more in Manual.

DropUpLoad is a small and robust utility that uploads files to your FTP server. It will deal with connection errors automatically and make sure the files are uploaded. Simply select an FTP server and drag-and-drop files to be upload, and DropUpLoad will do the rest for you.

Save2FTP is designed for an automatic online backup of your important data to remote FTP servers. It will help you organize your backups and schedule automatic backups. It supports inclusion and exclusion of files by wildcard mask as well as by exact file name, and keeps detailed logs of all backup operations. It includes a scheduler for unattended auto-backup and scheduling of any specific time or date, day of the week or month. It also allows you to create incremental backups so you only need to backup files that have changed.

Bitvise SSH Client (formerly Tunnelier) is a fast, secure FTP and terminal client with a variety of "tunnel" options to create secure connections, similar to a VPN. The program can forward Windows file shares over SSH, an FTP-to-SFTP protocol bridge, port forwarding and more. See forum discussion for adding secure FTP to existing portable software.

Includes support for single-click remote desktop forwarding for graphical server access, vt100, strong auto-reconnect and a scriptable console-mode SFTP client. Integrated SOCKS and HTTP proxy are available for dynamic forwarding. Security measures include wide encryption protocol support including public key exchange and optional integrated compression. WinSCP is a feature-rich tabbed file transfer client with a variety of views including single-window, dual-pane and tree view interfaces. The program supports standard FTP as well as secure connections using WebDav, S3, SSH, SSL/TLS and legacy SCP. The program can search, perform directory synchronization between local and remote, change properties, and edit text/binary files.

Includes support for scripting, task automation, various authentication tools, proxy, SSH tunnels and IPv6.

Alternatively, WinSCP Portable is multilingual and supports PuTTY Portable.
An outdated X-WinSCP, packaged in winPenPack's format, is also available.

Windows System Control Center (WSCC) allows you to install, update, execute and organize the utilities from various system utility suites. The program either works as an interface or as downloader. The program can work with both utilities suites downloaded or can dynamically grab and run the programs via a web connection. The included Update Manager can check for newer versions of the utilities already installed and can download and install the missing items.

Works with Windows Sysinternals and NirSoft Utilities suites, but also highlights Windows' own utilities.

FileZilla is a fast and reliable FTP client, including secure options SFTP and TLS. The program interface includes an easy-to-use tabbed window, drag-and-drop capability, bookmarks, remote and recursive file search, remote file editing and a managable upload/download queue. Internally, it supports connection throttling, keepalive, timeout detection, IPv6, SOCKS 4/5 and HTTP 1.1 proxy etc.

Alternatively, Filezilla Portable is pre-configured as portable and automatically adjusts paths, as well as an outdated X-Filezilla.

Cross-platform with clients available for Mac and Linux. For Windows XP, an older and unsupported version is available. A portable Filezilla server is available as part of XAMPP.

Opal is a specialized audio player that lets you play one of 20+ built-in relaxing tracks for as long as you want, without interruption. The audio tracks include: rain, wind, thunder, river, fire, various office background noise such as typing, chatter etc. There's also a timer feature that helps stop the audio player after a preset interval.

FileVoyager is a customisable, feature-rich file manager that supports tabs, themes, color customization and a ribbon or classic interface. The program uses an "orthodox" or two-panel commander-style view of disks, folders (real or virtual), shares, archives and FTP/FTPS. FontViewOK creates a quick visual overview on all fonts installed or from a folder. Includes printing with print preview function, a list of all fonts from a specific folder, dual font preview for quick comparisons of fonts, as well as ability to modify size, style and color.

CpuFrequenz is a small tool to accurately identify the CPU frequency. The program can identify whether the system is running slow due to a processor ceiling or other reasons.

AutoHideDesktopIcons allows you to hide/unhide all desktop icons after a preset time.

OpenTTD is a business simulation game in which the player aims to earn money through transportation of passengers and freight by road, rail, water and air. The program is based upon the popular game Transport Tycoon Deluxe, written by Chris Sawyer for Microprose and attempts to mimic the original game as closely as possible while extending it with new features.

PingInfoView allows you to easily ping multiple host names and IP addresses, and watch the result in one table. Useful for checking connectivity or uptime of frequently used servers and websites.

ExperienceIndexOK is a small program to read and show your Windows Experience Index or to start a new calculation of the performance index. This index "measures the capability of your computer's hardware and software configuration" (source).

The program is primarily written for Windows 8.1 and 10 because the performance index is still calculated but no longer displayed in the System.
