Neat little app. Uses around 1.0 - 1.5MB RAM. GUI is a little ugly like all SoftwareOK apps, but you'll probably want to start this in the system tray and forget it! :) |
AlwaysMouseWheel allows you to scroll (via mouse wheel) any window under the mouse, even if that window is not in the foreground. This is especially useful when referencing multiple windows without losing focus on the primary window (e.g. taking notes).

SearchMyFiles is a powerful alternative to the standard Windows search. It allows you to easily find files by wildcard, last modified/created/last accessed time, file attributes, content (text or binary search) and file size. File types available for search includes Microsoft Office and PDF files. The program also be detect duplicate files via the "Search Mode" drop-down box.
Note that the program is non-indexing, meaning it searches the drive directly, which is often slower but more accurate.

I have tried and used several search apps before and was not very impressed but as soon as I saw that this product was from NirSoft I knew I had to try it. NirSoft makes so many great apps that I use a lot, its difficult to say something new about them due to the fact that just about everything they make works great and is pretty awesome overall. One thing is 4sure the native Micro$oft search engine is close to worthless, so just about anything will be an improvement.

No matter what IMO Media Player Classic has always been, and will always be the best overall Media Player. I've been using for a very long time on many different OS's and it fulfilled my needs on all of them. I like the look and all the rest, maybe I'm being partial but so what it works 4me :) Great job by the makers so thanks for the hard work. |
LibreOffice is a complete productivity suite including word processor, spreadsheet, presentations, database, drawing tool and more. Includes strong compatibility for 100s of file formats including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.). The program is similar to OpenOffice, a program that it was derived from, but has added many new features and improvements.
LibreOffice Portable is a special build developed in conjunction with the publisher. On systems without Java installed, some functions such as document creation wizards and the Base database application etc. can be enabled by adding jPortable, though this is optional and can be skipped if those functions are not needed. Alternatively, X-LibreOffice (64-bit version) is also available.

Well this has been here a very long time, this program has worked fine for my uses.I was looking for an older version from the website I found in Japanese, the problem was many of the Japanese words are spelled wrong which changes the meaning. :D

CrystalDiskinfo should not be listed under Similar/alternative apps for CrystalDiskMark. CrystalLDiskMark benchmarks, whereas CrystalDiskinfo supplies a lot of disk information, but does NOT benchmark.
