If you just want the recycle bin in the systray area on your main PC, then another way is to add it via quick launch. Right-click taskbar, toolbars, add ... %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch ... Unlock taskbar, untick show text/titles, tick large icons under view, lock taskbar. You can now drag items to this and they'll be added to the RB; right-click lets you empty it, and of course clicking it will open it. |

Seems like this doesn't work any more in Windows 10. Although apps portablised using it in previous versions of Windows still seem to work OK.

You're welcome, Guinness. I've just sent a review to Softpedia, including a heads-up to the site's administration about the bad download file.

Final note on DuoExplorer: Softpedia has now fixed the download file. It's now a proper Zip archive containing DuoExplorer.exe. That's the only file you need; the app writes the necessary config files in its own application folder. |

Very useful tool. I'd rather us WinMtr than this but this program does something WinMtr doesn't do, which is log to a file. |
Fast Image Resizer is a small drag and drop tool to quickly resize multiple iamge formats to JPEG. The quality settings are configurable and EXIF data can be copied. It program functions with different image format (as source). Also performs an automatic cropping.
Cross-platform with a client available for Mac.
###0###Note:###1### An issue with Windows 10 breaks the drag-and-drop functionality. The license companion text file and the author's webpage do not mention any kind of known end-user agreement.

This is very handy when dedicated to a process you do often-emailing pictures for instance.I have FastStone too (which is great) but with Fast Image Resizer you can just drag a picture onto its desktop shortcut. If you want,it'll clean off the exif data too. |
EjectUSB is a tool for quickly closing apps running from a USB drive and ejecting the drive from safe removal. It will automatically close all programs running from the drive EjectUSB was run from (host drive), close any explorer windows open to the host drive, remove Windows MUI and MRU entries and recent document shortcuts related to the host drive, and attempt to eject the host drive when done. It can also interface with various utilities to aid in drive ejection.
Alternatively, the program can be run from your hard drive as a tool to restore a computer to its post-boot state. If you have 10-20 windows open, this will quickly and easily close them all, akin to pressing a reset button for your desktop.
###0###Warning:###1### Launching EjectUSB will immediately close all programs running from the host drive and eject the drive without user intervention!

Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch EjectUSB.exe. The program reads its settings from EjectUSB.ini (in the same folder as EjectUSB.exe). If EjectUSB.ini does not exist, the program will run with default settings. EjectUSB also accepts a drive letter or folder path as a command-line argument. Read EjectUSB.txt for more information. |

ClipSecure is a simple text and file encryption utility that uses automatic compression and many industry-standard algorithms, including AES. The text encryption operates within the Windows clipboard, and therefore can be used within any text-based program and most email clients. File encryption includes file wipe capability and is intended primarily for files under 10 megs.

I have been using ClipSecure for over a year now, and I love it. I use it for my emails with my family and to secure my confidential documents on my portable USB dive when I travel. I keep a copy on the drive and load it onto any computer I use at any net cafe. I am not a sophisticated user, and it is very convenient and user friendly for me. |
