SpaceMonger is a tool for keeping track of the free space on your computer. Each file or folder on a given drive is displayed in a box in the main window whose size is a relative comparison to all the other files in your system.

Note: v1.4.0 is the last freeware version.

Category:
Runs on:Win95 / Win98 / WinME / WinNT / Win2K / WinXP
Writes settings to: Windows registry. But given the nature of the application, I think it can be accepted as portable.
Stealth: ? No
License: Freeware
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch SpaceMonger.exe.

I agree with TP109. This scans drives, directories & files easily 4x as fast as the other programs I've tried. The size of files & folders in the visual interface is quite accurate as well, so you get a spot-on idea of what's taking up the most space on your drive. And did I mention it's only 1 exe file? Highly reccomended!

This is the fastest disk space analyzer with a full size interface that I've used yet.

While I used the same application page to download I found a version 1.5 freeware.

Just go to http://www.sixty-five.cc/download/

Next click the "Free Software" Tab.

The 1.4 is the last freewarerelease. You find spcmn140.zip
almost at the bottom of the page http://www.sixty-five.cc/download/

It is the best utility for checking file sizes that I've come across, and I've tried a couple. The interface with boxes whose size is a relative comparison to the other files, is very intuitive.
