Zim is desktop Wiki system that lets you maintain a collection of wiki pages. Each page can contain links to other pages, simple formatting and images. Pages are stored in a folder structure, like in an outliner, and can have attachments. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a nonexistent page. All data is stored in plain text files with wiki formatting. Various plugins provide additional functionality, like a task list manager, an equation editor, a tray icon, and support for version control.

Download the installer and run. You will be given the option to install a portable version to a folder of your choice. Also, make sure to deselect ".zim file association" and "Create registry keys and uninstaller" as these are enabled by default. After installation, do not select run. Instead, go to the destination folder and edit environ.ini: [Environment] HOME=./ TEMP=./tmp XDG_CONFIG_HOME=./config XDG_CONFIG_DIRS= XDG_DATA_HOME=./data XDG_DATA_DIRS= XDG_CACHE_HOME=./cache Basically, the default values are relative paths "../" that points to the outer directory and we want to point them to the base directory. Finally, launch zim.exe. |

Portable Application Launcher includes all the features this launcher has plus many, many more. |
7-Zip is an archive manager that can view and create a wide variety of formats. The program includes folder favorites, optional two-pane view, checksum calculator, file split/combine capability and more. Individual archives can be created with high speed or high compression settings, update options (including update, add/replace, synchronize), split volumes and more. Archives can be secured with standard zip or more secure AES encryption.
Although the official archiver for the open, high-compression "7z" format, the program also supports the creation of multiple formats including ZIP, XZ, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR and WIM. It will extract a long list of other formats, among them RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, RPM, VHD, VMDK etc. Even more formats are supported through third-party plugins. Supports many world languages.
Additionally, to use alternative toolbar and file icons, 7-Zip Theme Manager is available.
7-Zip Portable is a wrapper from PortableApps.com, auto-detecting 32 or 64-bit automatically. Alternatively, X-7zip is also available.
There is also a 7-Zip standalone console version.

X-Mouse Button Control (XMBC) allows you to set a variety of controls for your mouse. For example, you can set a button copy, paste, undo, volume up/down, forward-backward (in browser), scrolling background windows and many more.
Changes can be application-specific, meaning simply changing applications will automatically swap mouse controls, but they can also be user-managed and based on a hot-key. So your mouse can work as basic volume controls for your music player as well as back and forward buttons for your browser.

When you click the download link, a page opens with the download, just un-check the "Use our download manager and get recommended downloads" box. You'll get the zip file that you want. My Avast keeps blocking the site/file so I just disabled. After download I checked using VirusTotal and comes up clean.

AutoIt is a BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting. It uses a combination of simulated keystrokes, mouse movement and window/control manipulation in order to automate tasks or perform user interface testing.
Users new to the program are encouraged to read an introduction (thanks guinness.)
Note: the outdated (from 2012) AutoIt Portable allows you to create a portable environment of SciTE4AutoIt3 and AutoIt together, as well as cleaning AppData and opening the program editor with sample scripts (also thanks to guinness).
A 64 bit version is available (within the folder).

Stealth: ? | No. Every time one compiles a script (at least through SciTE=>Tools=>Build) it creates the folder %LocalAppData%\AutoIt v3\ (specifically %LocalAppData%\AutoIt v3\Aut2exe) for temp files. But since the files are temporary (only existing during compilation) the folder is at least usually empty. See bug report. You might want to run SciTE through a Program Portabilizer set to delete the aforementioned folder upon exit. |

I downloaded this and the linked portable SciTE4AutoIt3. I put the latter into a subdirectory of this (named SciTE4AutoIt3), and when I run `AutoIt3.exe HelloWorld.au3` from the AutoIt directory, I get a pop-up "It Appears AutoIt Portable was unable to load the SciTEGlobal.properties". How do I configure things? |
FUPX (formerly Free UPX) allows you to compress or decompress EXE, DLL, OCX, BPL, CPL and other files. It offers easy access to all documented and undocumented UPX parameters without the need for accessing the command-line.
The program is an advanced interface for the UPX (Ultimate Packer for eXecutables). It uses the Microsoft Portable Executable and COFF Specification.
Alternatively, FUPX Portable is in PortableApps.com Format and includes both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the app.
