dsSHA calculates the SHA-1 checksum for any given file, with the option to copy the checksum value to the clipboard.

very simple utility, the only problem is it's limited to your system memory.
i tried performing a calculation on a file about 1.5GB but it gives me a not enough memory message.
i'm only on 1GB of RAM so i find this utility useless if i want to check the hash values on large files.
for example i regularly download torrent files 2GB - 4GB in size. which would require 4 GB of RAM!!!
Can anyone recommend a different app?
