Click-N-Type is a on-screen virtual keyboard for anyone with a disability that prevents him or her from typing on a physical computer keyboard. It features word prediction/completion, macros, audio/visual feedback options including spoken keys etc. It also includes a keyboard designer and many user designed layouts.
Unlike many similar tools, Click-N-Type is able to get text into uncooperative places like browser URL "Address:" fields, Email "To:" addresses, Email "Subject:" fields, dialog boxes like "Open" and "Save As...", and many more.

luojie, Are you sure you have the correct French Language Pack installed on you portable device, as described in the "Special considerations for Click-N-Type Portable:" section at http://cnt.lakefolks.com/portable.htm ? There are several for different countries. Also, be sure the correct Input Language has been installed in Windows, and is being used by the current target window. Portable version doesn't seem to work on windows 7 it complains that the comdlg32.ocx component is not registered
does not emulate french keyboard. lots of errors ($ for example)
Finally, an on-screen keyboard that lets me redefine the layout. Ever since I got my touchscreen netbook, I've been looking for something that would put Page-Up/Page-Down keys in the corner of the screen that I can use when I'm reading ebooks. This one requires an add-on to create custom layouts, but it's a free download and gives you full control over the size of the keyboard, which keys appear, and where. Check the help file to find where to download the add-on.
Note that the add-on isn't portable, but since it stores the layout in a simple .cfg file, your custom layouts may work without it.
Thanks! I love this app, but it wasn't portable, so I've been using other not as good as this one.
Thanks again!
John, We see the possible problem and have eliminated the need for that module, not distributed with Windows 7. However, we still need some more time to sufficiently test Click-N-Type on Windows 7.
