John, We see the possible problem and have eliminated the need for that module, not distributed with Windows 7. However, we still need some more time to sufficiently test Click-N-Type on Windows 7. Please watch the http://cnt.lakefolks.com site for the next revision (newer than 3.03.387). Address questions to Click-N-Type@LakeFolks.com .

luojie, Are you sure you have the correct French Language Pack installed on you portable device, as described in the "Special considerations for Click-N-Type Portable:" section at http://cnt.lakefolks.com/portable.htm ? There are several for different countries. Also, be sure the correct Input Language has been installed in Windows, and is being used by the current target window. Finally, an on-screen keyboard that lets me redefine the layout. Ever since I got my touchscreen netbook, I've been looking for something that would put Page-Up/Page-Down keys in the corner of the screen that I can use when I'm reading ebooks. This one requires an add-on to create custom layouts, but it's a free download and gives you full control over the size of the keyboard, which keys appear, and where. Check the help file to find where to download the add-on.

Note that the add-on isn't portable, but since it stores the layout in a simple .cfg file, your custom layouts may work without it.

Thanks! I love this app, but it wasn't portable, so I've been using other not as good as this one.
Thanks again!
