MessenPass is a password recovery tool that reveals the passwords of the following instant messenger applications:
- MSN Messenger
- Windows Messenger (in Windows XP)
- Windows Live Messenger (in Windows XP/Vista)
- Yahoo Messenger (versions 5.x and 6.x)
- Google Talk
- ICQ Lite 4.x/5.x/2003
- AOL Instant Messenger v4.6 or below, AIM 6.x, and AIM Pro
- Trillian / Trillian Astra
- Miranda
- Pidgin/GAIM
- MySpace IM
- PaltalkScene
- Digsby

Only extremely old versions of IM programs are supported. I tried on latest messengers and dont work! It´s a rubbish!

@mon: tproli has a valid point. Portable IM users would carry their password with them on the USB stick and this tool would not be able to detect it as it looks on the host computer. This tool is useful to aid people who use installed versions of these messengers and have forgotten their passwords.
Worked great on the latest version of Pidgin.
