Okay, okay. That problem I just described... that has nothing to do with the program's ability to capture. It has EVERYTHING to do with your video cards "acceleration mode". if you disable it under your "Display settings/advanced" simple press of PRNT SCRN will do. But this program is...well, kinda pointless now that I can use PRNT SCRN?
Fail.
I had a .MOV file I wanted to get screen captures from.
Opened the file in VLC player.
Used this piece of software.
Results? The same as using ordinary PRNT SCRN button - the captured image has about 50% of the content that you actually see on screen with your own eyes. I bet this is some kind of a Quicktime problem but still... I hoped a dedicated software would be smarter than this.
My rating for this software: crap
Hard to believe that this fantastic utility hasn't gotten any comments. Small and efficient, very friendly options screen and no hassles at all.
