WinAuth generates 2nd-factor authentication codes. The program provides either counter or time-based RFC 6238 authentication and common implementations, such as the Google Authenticator. Supported services include Bitcoin trading and games sites Battle.net (World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo), Guild Wars 2, Glyph (Rift and ArcheAge), WildStar, RuneScape, SWTOR and Steam.
Windows 7 users should download the "NET35.zip" version from the GitHub page.
As of 2019, this app is no longer in development.

@HairyPorter I know it's late, but I just upvoted this useful app so others can find it :)
v3.5.1
Beta release v3.6.2 also available from https://github.com/winauth/winauth/releases/.
v3.5.1
@Orca -- I think most casual & non-logged in users aren't aware that TPFC has a private (more like secret !) listing, unless they come upon it by sheer chance. But the app's dependency is not decided by whether TPFC currently categorizes the app as private or public.
As an analogy, let's say Orca is labeled in TPFC as a bird. I won't think it's pointless to update the Orca entry to let anyone who chances upon it to know it is actually a cool whale, & that one doesn't need to obtain a .NET 4.5 ticket to check it out, when a .NET 3.5 ticket is sufficient.
But it's up to you, since you are the one who suggested this app & updated the entry relatively recently (21 Dec 2016) ... thank you for that. Would my vote count ? My rank is zero. :(
v3.5.1
The developer also provides a .NET 3.5-compatible bulld -- v3.5.1 (07 Jun 2016): https://winauth.com/downloads/3.x/WinAuth-3.5.1-NET35.zip
So, perhaps the 'Dependencies' field could state: .NET 3.5 or .NET 4.5 (instead of just .NET 4.5). MS Framework .NET 3.5 is pre-installed on Win 7.
v3.5.1
Come on. I thought it came alive)
Quite a security risk to use 6 years dead program for 2fa.
Fyi. I found quite nice 2fa app for Windows recently. It has native look but sadly Microsoft Store only.
